Core program and Enrichment Classes

The Museum School’s after-school programs are run by Play on Words (POW!). The core program runs from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., and additional enrichment classes are offered on different days of the week during this time window.

The core program is language-based and literacy-based. Play on Words uses the research-based and award-winning curriculum LitART Learn. Curriculum is divided into units comprised of various picture books and/or novels for the day. Each day's activities are tied to the book of the day.

Tuition for the core program is paid monthly. Parents are offered a five-day-a-week option ($273/month), a three-day-a-week option ($210/month), and a two-day-a-week option ($168/month). Sliding-scale fees are available for families who qualify.

Enrichment class fees are payable per nine-week periods and must be paid in advance. Enrichment class fees range from $115-$140 for the nine-week sessions.

Beginning in the 2011-2012 academic year, all Museum School families MUST register for at least the drop-in after-care program; children who have not been picked up by the end of the school day will be sent to after-care and their parents charged the $25 drop-in fee for the day. Drop-in registration can be completed online.
