This is my school. Where I will discover and learn, find my new best friend, experiment and experience, and uncover my destiny. This is where I will get my hands dirty, play with mud (and clay and paper maché), and dream big dreams. Where my teacher understands me and creates lessons just for me. Where imagination is celebrated, and coloring outside the lines is encouraged. This is where history, science, math and reading are not just subjects, they’re chances to explore and make the world a little smaller for me. indicate your interest >

The Georgia Charter Schools Commission granted The Museum School of Avondale Estates its charter on December 14, 2009. The school was one of only seven statewide to win the new charter school designation. With this exciting news the school is on track to open in the fall of 2010 to children in kindergarten through third grade; it will expand by one grade level each year through eighth grade. Thanks to all our volunteers for their tireless efforts and support. We’re on our way to building a true community school. Stay tuned for more updates soon.
